Heather Hanson
Heather Hanson has been part of the Colorado Soccer community for over 10 years as a parent, team manager, administrator, referee and club president.
During her tenure as president of Northglenn Soccer Club, Heather was the driving force behind increased player enrollment in the recreational and competitive programs as well as helping to develop and stabilize the club’s financial plan and facilitate its merger with Colorado Xtreme Soccer Club. She then served on Colorado Xtreme’s board of directors, specializing in the recreational programs, until its merger with Colorado Storm Soccer Association in May, 2006.
In 2006, she was honored the Colorado Youth Soccer Volunteer of the Year for her work with Northglenn Soccer Club and Colorado Xtreme Soccer Club. She is a USSF “E” Licensed coach, USSF Grade 08 Referee, and a USSF Grade 08 Assignor.
Currently, Heather is an assignor and educator with SoccerColorado, LLC, coordinating the referee assignment programs for Trebol St. Vrain and Stingers Soccer Clubs. She also is responsible for the team manager/administrator training programs offered by SoccerColorado, LLC.
Deanna Duncan Allen
Soccer found Deanna Duncan Allen in 1992 and they have been inexplicably intertwined ever since. Moving from team parent, manager and volunteer to staff member and administrator for clubs like Broomfield Blast, Northglenn Soccer Club, Colorado Xtreme Soccer Club and Colorado Storm North gives her the broad perspective necessary to provide insight and guidance through training programs offered by SoccerColorado, LLC.
She is also a USSF certified assignor, instructor, assessor and referee, and continues to help develop and deliver educational program materials to new and recertifying referees throughout Colorado. In 2008, she was responsible for the referee assignment and education at the Region IV Girls ODP camp in Stockton, California, where she supervised and instructed referees from 14 states in the western United States.
In addition, she has been a staff member with the Colorado Youth Soccer and the Region IV Olympic Development Programs as an team, age group and referee administrator. In 2009, Deanna worked as the Region IV GODP camp administrator as well as the Region IV administrator accompanying players to the USSF U14 National Identification Camp. She has also created marketing and administrative materials for a variety of camps, clinics and specialty programs in the state.
Currently, Deanna is responsible for program development, marketing and training as well as serving as an assignor for SoccerColorado, LLC, which provides referee assignment for recreational and competitive Soccer clubs and tournaments. She also continues to teach USSF entry and intermediate level referee training classes throughout the state.
